    Hi ShahbazShaikh3

    Thanks for the response.

Regarding restricting users access to the address book, for teams you may refer to Use Microsoft Teams scoped directory search - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Docs, the scoped directory helps an organization set boundaries that control how users can find and communicate with other users in an organization.

With reference to adding restrictions in Sharepoint and Delve, these are out of my support boundary.

    Kind Regards,

    Momo

    Hi ShahbazShaikh3

    Greetings

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Regarding your query to disable users from viewing an address book, as far as I know and after doing some research regarding this, it is currently not feasible to limit who sees the address book, however a work around would be to create a new address list, and then create address book policy, and then assign this policy to the said users. For instructions on how to do so, please refer to Create a global address list in Exchange Online | Microsoft Docs, Create an offline address book in Exchange Online | Microsoft Docs and Address book policies in Exchange Online | Microsoft Docs

    Your understanding is highly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Momo

    Hi

    Thank you for the answer.
We are aware of the possibility to change who have access to what in EXO address book but this question is also for how to prevent the same in other services in O365 like SharePoint, Teams, Delve, e.g. a user group in a Team should not be able to search on people outside of the Team and not be able to search of the same user group.
