Purchased Office 2019 Suite from TechSoup for non-profits. Followed all directions, had to uninstall new computer OFFICE 365 sample. Finally got it to install but no program other than Word will run. Each comes up with specific .dll files missing. Research says due to uninstallations. Not a tech person, need step by step or how do I get MS tech help to do this for me remotely.

<< To better analyze this issue, could you please describe the prompt message in detail or share some sreenshots with us?

Besides, I have the following information need to confirm with you.

    1. According to my research on the TechSoup page, did you purchase Office Standard 2019?
    2. Which version of operating system are you using?
    3. How did you install Office 2019? Is it installed by double-clicking the setup.exe file or by using ODT to execute the .xml file?
If using ODT, please provide the details of .xml file. Here is an offcial article Deploy Office 2019, you may have a look.

Please go to Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features to check whether Office is installed successfully.
If yes, please select Office 2019 and then click Change to repair it online to check this issue.
If no, it is recommended that you refer to the above offcial article to reinstall it by using ODT.

I did the same install and followed all instructions and a repair did not work. I ended up having to look online and find the vcruntime140_1.dll file and put it in the system32 folder and all of the office programs worked after that. Different OS might need the file in a different location FYI. @Brian Capone
