Right click paste not working in Outlook 365

I am operating Office 365 email on Windows 10.

When I compose an email, the program will allow me to right click and copy words. But it will not allow me to right click and paste words. It gives me only the option to paste an emoji.

I also cannot find the paste icon at the top of Microsoft 365 to use that function.

I tried to upload a screenshot but it won't go through.

Is this a safety issue.. is that why it is blocked? If I use sensitive information in my work, should I keep the clipboard turned off and just deal with the fact that I cannot copy and paste?
