How to add again the hyperlinks and image/logo to my email signature after the Outlook 2023 updates?

Hello! My outlook on my Windows 11 just got updated this week (today is 8/16/23). I enjoy the features and its new look. However, my dilemma is about my email signature. In my email signature, I included links to my calendar and Teams chat so people can just click on them whenever they need to see my calendar or need to reach me through Teams. Creating the signature and inserting all those links gave me no problem but when actually using them, the hyperlinks disappear plus the logo of my workplace included in my email signature also vanished. When I checked back to settings to see how I saved my signature, everything looks good i.e. it has the hyperlinks and the logo. I feel like there is some disconnect between the settings where you create the signature and the actual email where the signature is actually utilized. How can I fix this?

    Hi, guys 😊👋

If you add a space " " before graphic and then select both before clicking add link, it will put a text value of link in space which can then be deleted, but the graphic will still remain with a link attached.

Not a fix, but an easy workaround until Microsoft sorts it out.

I tried to put pictures in here, but it failed to load. There is a video explaining the full process 👇

See video (Google Drive)NOTE: You can use SHIFT + Arrow Keys Left / Right to highlight from cursor with keyboard

    Hello Imjessamae,

I’m Segunfunmi, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. Thanks for posting the query here in this forum.

After the Outlook 2023 updates, you can still add hyperlinks and images to your email signature. Here are the steps to do so:

Open a new email message in Outlook.

On the Message menu, select Signature > Signatures.

Under Select Signature to edit, choose New, and in the New Signature dialogue box, type a name for the signature.

Under Edit signature, compose your signature. You can change fonts, font colours, sizes, and text alignment.

Select the image icon from the toolbar to “Insert picture inline” to add an image.

To add a hyperlink to text, select the text you want to turn into a hyperlink and click the link icon at the right end of the editor’s toolbar.

To add a hyperlink to an image, double-click the picture to select it and then click the link icon to add a hyperlink.

After adding the link, press “OK”.

Hit “Save” to update your signature.

You can also use one of the pre-designed templates for your signature or customise one of them.

For more detailed instructions and information on adding hyperlinks and images to your email signature in Outlook 2023, you can check out the link below:

    Kind regards, Segunfunmi.

Hello! Thank you for your response. I already did all of that. I was able to edit my signature by adding hyperlinks and logo and even set it as a default signature for my new messages BUT when I hit "new mail", the hyperlinks and the logo just disappear. Attached are screenshots to what I am saying: Images labeled 1 (image of me editing my signature) and 2 (image of me actually opening an email).

    Hello Imjessamae,

Thank you for providing more information and the screenshot. I’m sorry that the issue persists despite trying the suggested solutions. There might be a bug or compatibility issue with the new update of Outlook on Windows 11. I would recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They should be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and provide a solution. In the meantime, you could try using a different email client or webmail service as a temporary workaround.

I hope this helps! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist you.

    Kind regards, Segunfunmi

    Hi Segunfunni,

I do every as you say above - Insert Image and then try to add the company website to the image. As soon as I press save - the image is removed and it is replaced with the hyperlink. Any advice on this? I have tried both png and jpeg both with the same response.

    Thanks
