I just purchased individual 365, and the outlook account is a long string of numbers, not my name AND while i can send FROM the account, i cannot receive emails. How do I resolve this (I don't believe the duplicate contacts is the root issue?)

I can indeed send and receive Hotmail on my desktop computer (Mac). Please provide any guidance you can to help me resume Hotmail e-mail communications via my mobile device. I do not have the Teams app installed on any device.
