Workaround for Outlook.com users experiencing duplicate Contacts after enabling Contact Sync in Teams App

If you are a Microsoft personal account user and have either Teams and Outlook apps installed (and Contact sync enabled in both) or the Phone Link installed, you might observe duplicate contacts in Outlook due to a recent issue with contact synchronization. You can use the below workaround to remove the device synced contacts and all the duplicates created by this issue.

    Greetings - With a fair amount of shame and embarrassment, I am sending this follow-up to report the problem I previously reported was self induced. :(

    It seems I changed my password recently, and was entering the wrong password when trying to access my Hotmail account.

    Apologies to all for any inconvenience. Now, if you will pardon me while I go hang my head in shame.

    did not have team installed but installed to make sure it wasntsomewhereelse and have everything shut off no sync and still not able to receive emails

    I have not recieved and email for 2 weeks now....I still get junk mail though...I have done all your problemsolvers..new password...scanned my system..you say my e-mail is OK...whats up...i need my email to work now
