Controlling the display of tasks in the Outlook Mail view
I previously asked about controlling the display of tasks in the Outlook Mail view (see Previous discussion on this topic). I display active tasks in a vertical strip on the right side of my Mail view in Outlook. There are some tasks that have not been completed that are on hold or were not done that I would prefer not to clutter the task list with but I don't to delete because of the information in them.
I was told that there is no way to control which tasks show in up in the task according to the category to which they have been assigned. However, I am wondering if there are other ways to accomplish my goal or nearly do so. For example:
- Is there a way to create additional types of priority (in addition to High, Medium, and Low) so that the "not done" tasks display at the bottom of the list?
- Is there a way to control the order in which tasks are displayed according the category (not the priority) to which they have been assigned?
- Can I control the display of tasks according the folder in which I put them? That is, if I put the tasks that I want to hide (but not delete) in a separate folder, is there a way to prevent that folder of tasks from displaying (without deleting them)?
Thanks!
