Deleting a Folder in SharePoint 2013

Question

Hi -

There is a folder on one of our SharePoint 2013 websites which needs to be deleted but we are getting the error that "the folder cannot be deleted because it is either in use or checked-out." I've confirmed that it is not open or checked-out but I'm still receiving the error.

How can I delete this folder?

Hi @Lisa Hein

Please check if the folder contains check-out files, if so ,check in these files first, then delete the folder.

You could also try to delete all files in this folder, then delete the folder to compare the result.
