How to transfer ownership of an Outlook Calendar (not delegate)

How do I transfer ownership of my Outlook Calendar to my manager? I am leaving my team soon (staying within the university though), and want my manager to be able to add new users to the calendar. Older questions say to go to sharing permissions and give Ownership permission, but this option does not exist for me (either on the Web version or the desktop version), the only 4 options are:
Can view when I'm busy
Can view titles and locations
Can view all details
Can edit

I would appreciate your advice on how to overcome this, and would prefer to not have to export/import the calendar (if that's possible to avoid).

Thank you

    Hi Amul -

I'm having the same problem that Talitha is. I tried to follow your steps but the options you've listed simply aren't available in Outlook anymore. At least not readily so.

When trying to do Step 3, these are the only permissions that are shown:

The prior options that were more detailed aren't available anymore. And looking at users that did have more specific permissions are listed as "Custom" and give this message:

It's that "older version" that appears to have the Owner directions you gave - but that isn't available in the current Outlook version for some reason.

Any additional help with this new information in mind??

It has been several months since this thread has been checked on. The method provided doesn't work as many have pointed out. Please review this thread and provide a solution.

Hi [Insert name of Microsoft Help Desk employee here],

This problem is still not resolved. I thank you in advance for reinstating the previously described process for changing calendar ownership in Outlook. I appreciate that you will promptly put this feature back in as I too need to change ownership of a calendar and the previously described method no longer works.

Thanks from another user that is listening to the sound of tumbleweeds,

    Alan Gregory

When will this option be reinstated? I too have the need to transfer ownership of 2 calendars.
