how can I block junk mail on hotmail?

I have a hotmail account, tied to everything I do, but I get almost 100 junk mails a day on it. How can I block all the junk mail .

I have several email accounts, all from different companies. Hotmail (Outlook) is by far (by far!) the worst at filtering out junk.

I have followed your advice for the past year. I have marked them "junk". I have blocked them. I have created rule after rule. With what effect? I continue to receive junk by the ton. I removed all the rules I made and started over. I removed all the blocked sites and reblocked them.

I guess I'd like to know what other companies are doing so successfully handling spam while Hotmail doesn't seem to able to.

I doubt that Garcia even read the email, otherwise they would have seen the words "get almost 100 JUNK emails a day". They would then have had NO reason to start off their ID10T-IC response of "to your inbox?".... I am not sure what is worse, Hotmail's lack of ability to control/eliminate junk mails (I get dozens from the .XYZ domain alone and I cannot eliminate them, because the domain filter only works on the inbox.

I have received 389 junk emails since Saturday.

I totally agree! Hotmail is the worst at filtering out junk mail. I have been blocking the sender and moving the emails over to the junk mail folder that i have been receiving for the past 2 weeks but it does NOT stop! Some of them even show that they are from a blocked sender but still show up in my inbox!

I have a yahoo account and do get some junk emails every once in a while, but nothing even close to the issue I have with hotmail. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
