"Here's what you can do: Mark emails as junk: When you receive a junk email in your Hotmail inbox, you can mark it as "junk" or "spam.". This action helps Hotmail's filtering system learn what types of emails are unwanted and can improve its ability to filter out similar messages in the future."
I have several email accounts, all from different companies. Hotmail (Outlook) is by far (by far!) the worst at filtering out junk.
I have followed your advice for the past year. I have marked them "junk". I have blocked them. I have created rule after rule. With what effect? I continue to receive junk by the ton. I removed all the rules I made and started over. I removed all the blocked sites and reblocked them.
I guess I'd like to know what other companies are doing so successfully handling spam while Hotmail doesn't seem to able to.
