How do I delete multiple emails from a search results list in the outlook mobile app as it won't allow we to select any of the emails?

I'm trying to clean up my Hotmail account on my phone via the Outlook app. When I do search on an email address, or select an email address from an email to see all emails from them, it won't allow me to select any of the results to delete them. So how do you expect us to do this without having to trawl through 1000s of emails in my inbox selecting one at a time?

It is currently not possible to delete multiple emails from a search results list in the Outlook mobile app. A Microsoft Agent has stated that this feature is not currently available in the Outlook for Android app. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/how-can-i-delete-all-results-from-a-search-on/5da79fce-f21e-4616-b36b-8c7c49007a74.

As a workaround, you can add your account to the Outlook desktop client to delete multiple emails at once. You can also send feedback to the Outlook for Android developer team by going to Settings > Help & Feedback > Suggest a Feature within the app. I hope this information helps!
