When will Outlook365 render HTML emails using a browser interface like Edge or even Chrome?

It seems wherever I go people are complaining about how bad emails are displayed in Outlook 365 (and earlier). The HTML of a message is not being rendered properly. I am told it is because Outlook does not use a HTML render via web browser like Edge, but rather it continued to use outdated Rich-text/Word format.

WHY?

When will Microsoft catch up to every other email client and render HTML as received? This issue seems to be a decades-long issue.

I realise many now use outlook on mobile devices, but in an office situation where we use desktops, we still use the desktop versions of Office365.

No such issues here an any win10/win11/iOS/Android device using 365/Outlook

You shouldn't believe what you have been told or found out using that well known search engine.

RichText is a type of format the user selects and requires that the recipient is also using MS Office/OL

Maybe start off with the basic Office repair
