How do I fix error (0x8004010F) 'Outlook data file cannot be accessed.'

Question

I am a home user and Outlook for PC from Microsoft 365 worked fine when I shutdown in evening of 12/12. On startup on 12/13, Outlook could not find any of the data files. Outlook was looking for mailaddress.pst files and all files were shown as mailaddress - copy.pst in folder. After considerable messing around, I finally got file names properly lined up and Outlook connected to all three data files (Comcast.net, ATT.net, and Gmail.com) and properly displayed all existing data. HOWEVER, now when I hit the send/receive button I immediately get the "reported error (0x8004010F) 'Outlook data file cannot be accessed.'" for both send and receive for all three accounts. Can't connect to ANT incoming or outgoing email. I ran SaRA utility, but it could not solve the problem. How do I fix this issue.

When I restarted my computer on 12/13, it seemed like it was doing some updates before/when Windows homepage opened. When I restarted a little later to see if would solve my problems, Windows did a major update ( >1 Hr).

This error usually occurs when the Outlook profile is corrupted or the data file location is changed. Locate the default Outlook data file for your email accounts. You can do this by following the instructions in this article.
