Why is MS ToDo on new Outlook very slow, its so slow I can't use it?

I now use new version of outlook. I am keen to use the ToDo features but its so slow that I am unable to actually it. If I go to add a task or delete a task then it just crashes or is very slow to respond. What can I do to make it faster and more to the point usable?

Also, does anyone know a way to share the contacts within my team? That is something that has stopped working on new Outlook.

I have the exact same issue. It's unusable as it often takes a couple of minutes before the ToDo list appears.

I was having the same issue and becoming very frustrated as using my Tasks (To Do) was a big part of my workday and it had become unusable because of how slow it was. Here is a solution I found that worked for me. Since I have a new computer, when opening my Tasks, it was trying to restore all of my current tasks along with my "Completed" items, which was over 7,000. I decided to leave my Tasks open and go to lunch and let it work itself through all of those items. When I returned, all 7,000+ items had been restored and it is now working smoothly like normal. I am able to add new tasks or delete old tasks without any issues, and I am now going through the process of deleting all of those completed items since it is working ok now. My takeaway is to try the same thing - open up your Tasks, leave it alone for a while, and let it process all of your items. Hopefully you will have the same success that I did.
