The sites which are created in project site template are not listed in MS list

Hi All,
I am having a sites which are created in project site template they are not listed in MS list and also the new UI of MS list to create a list is not present on any of the sites created in project site template.
Does anyone know the exact cause or limitation of it or do we have a resolution to overcome this issue
