viruses- PC performance is very slow.

There are a few viruses in my computer that slows down my computer. Each time i reinstall windows, my computer works fast for a little while and then these slowing-down-viruses come without me opening a webpage in internet. It cant be from the internet server because windows sets up internet while installing windows.

The things that these viruses do:

  1. Moving a very small file into an empty/full folder is very slow now.
  2. Renaming a file/folder is very slow now.
  3. Copying files to my usb2 flash disk is much slower now.
  4. Starting a program was already very slow but even much slower now.
  5. Changing between Firefox (and most probably other browsers also) tabs is very slow now.
  6. Getting the focus/beam on anything that is clicked is very slow now.
  7. There is even a virus that slows down the things i type with my keyboard. Sometimes the characters i type appear a lot later than i type them. This is a new virus.
  8. Opening context menus are slower now.

I need a freeware which will disable slowing down anything in my computer very strictly and which will remove all the delays. It would be better if Microsoft prevented any slowing down code. Then maybe it would be too fast but better than being slow. Did you know that Microsoft and Linux company are delaying every process in the os to slow down the computer a little bit and make it better. They made it better but provided a way for viruses to slow down things. They download the slowing-down viruses to my computer before it connects to the internet ever.

I need a freeware which will disable slowing down anything in my computer very strictly and which will remove all the delays. If you know any freeware please let me know. Currently there is no virus program that detects any delay/waiting as virus. I tried them all. One of the very famous virus programs was a virus itself. It detected my Windows file as a virus and deleted it, and my Windows started malfunctioning. I forgot which program was that. But from now on i will never again install any virus program other than the one Microsoft provides. They are virus (coz they slowed down my computer more) and they didnt detect a single virus my computer had out of approximately 20 viruses.

I suspect this is not a virus but the clutter in your system.  You can verify this by running malwarebytes.  If that comes back clean it is the "stuff" you have installed.  You can check that by running a system file check

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.

    Update it immediately.

    Do a full system scan

Let us know the results at the end.

Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM if you are on win 8 or higher

All instructions are in our Wiki article below...

Should you have any questions please ask us.

Sounds like you have a rootkit. Open your process manager and see if a lot of resorces are being consumed. Download TDSSkiller and run it. http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/tdsskiller. Also a rootkit no matter how many times you format and reinstall it will always remain on your hard drive until you manually remove it.

I installed Malwarebytes Anti-malware. It didnt help. Then i thought about uninstalling the programs i installed. And started with uninstalling Microsoft Security Essentials. As soon as i uninstalled Microsoft Security Essentials, my computer became lot faster. Not as fast as the freshly installed Windows, but lot faster than before. So the remaining slowness is due to either one of the updates which includes updating to Windows 7 SP1 or due to Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Shockwave Player. I didnt install any other thing. I dont know which one, i didnt realize the change while happening. But most probably Service Pack 1. I'm not gonna install it next time i install Windows.

TDSS Killer didnt find any rootkits! Moving a file into/from a folder is still very slow. Another thing that slowed down is extracting archives to desktop. 7 zip extracts archives very fast still, but after the extraction files appearance on the desktop is very slow. I think there is a virus that slows down the actions between my computer and hard disk. My computer is also very slow when i try to rename a file/folder. Data on a hard disk was always too much for a hard disk to handle. It cant be from the functioning of the hard disk. There must be a virus that delays things and since delaying is something Windows includes, the virus programs dont see such code as virus. I wish someone made a freeware that removes all the delaying codes from all the files in a folder/drive specified, if necessary restart the computer and do it at startup.

I installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but it didnt find any malware. By the way, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware doesnt have an option to scan another drive, so i couldnt check the other partition. But i use the other partition to store things, i dont run any programs from there. All the open programs (programs which are loaded to RAM) are in drive C. The open programs are just residing in memory, they are not running. I hardly run a few codes at any time when i click on things or type things. If they all ran at the same time fully, i would understand. Then my ram and hard disk would handle it, but my motherboard couldnt handle that much data flow and would slow down. But that is not the way it works, only few bits of code run at any click or typing. Otherwise the computer would respond in a minute to any action, simply it would be too slow. I dont think that it is related to my computer. Otherwise my computer wouldnt run fastly when i first installed windows. I think there are viruses in my computer that delay things lot longer than windows do.
