HP has had me update the BIOS to try and fix this...no dice.
Server 2016 Installation Issues - Installer does not recognize drives seen in BIOS.
HP G6 800 systems come with M.2 SSD's. Client does not want SSD for a server. Removed M.2 drive, installed SATA drives. Booted to USB to install OS, got to screen asking where to install OS and there are no drives showing.
Rebooted into BIOS, shows the SATA hard drives. Am I missing the chipset driver? Located the AMD chipset driver and it won't install from command line, tells me the OS version for the driver is wrong. HP have washed their hands because it's seen in BIOS.
Where do I go from here?
