Trying to run dism /image:c:\temp\boot.wim /Get-Drivers but errors with "Warning DISM DISM Provider Store: PID=2756 TID=7660 Failed to load the provider: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\AMD64\DISM\MetaDeployProvider.dll. - CDISMProviderStore::Internal_GetProvider(hr:0x8007007e)
This was a fresh 21H1 install with the latest versions of the Windows Kits (win10 - 10.1.18362.1 & WinPE 10.1.17763.1)
Any idea where I can get this from or if a fix id coming?

I do not think this was solved for this broke windows update since these DLLs are not to be found in 1809 cumulative MarorApr2022 updates that fail to load due to this issue on Win server 2019 Web VM
It occurred after an update and the dism log complains:
Failed to load the provider: C:\Windows\TEMP\5379BF15-8583-4AF5-96A3-035391C7248E\PEProvider.dll
Failed to load the provider: C:\Windows\system32\Dism\SiloedPackageProvider.dll
Failed to load the provider: C:\Windows\system32\Dism\MetaDeployProvider.dll
I also found the SiloedPackageProvider.dll in APK as did Peter Williams but this has been a fiasco of
squandered time and trying to avoid unnecessary rebuild of a webserver with all the after headaches.
I had way too much redline fun at the loss of other much more needed tasks than playing with the web server:
because of windows update, went through all this and much more with no joy results even after placing SiloedPackageProvider.dll in correct directory.
done after each tested fix
sfc /scannow then press Enter
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealth then press Enter
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /ScanHealth then press Enter
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth then press Enter
Then did a reset and rebuild of dism store, no joy
I am pretty certain that Microsoft left out this straggler DLL and SiloedPackageProvider.dll in APK and owes me
100 beers for this DLL nightmare.
Then also loaded APK and in its DISM 32 bit directory, I repeated all with no joy
If I could find MetaDeployProvider.dll, could test or else update webserver to win2022 bad idea

Well good news @Jenny Feng .
I downloaded the Windows 11 version and the problem seems to have gone away.
The missing dll isnt included in this version but I guess nothing is calling it.
Please clarify, did you just download the Windows 11 or rebuild OS by loading "Windows 11 to fix the issue?
I assume the latter but still huge to fix one DLL and not possible on 2019 HyperV VM except to upgrade to Windows 2022 and also Update host because of one DLL??
Hi - Its a while ago now but I don't think I touched the OS, just used the Windows 11 version of the ADK

Can you even use Windows 11 ADK on Windows 10? I see a lot against that online.

Same problem. I worked around the problem by using the Powershell Split-Image on the same workstation
