If i want to create an auto-reply for being sick, can i save this preset and then create another one for general use like "at a conference"? I am trying to get away from having to type a new auto reply each time. A set of customizable presets would be fantastic.

    Dear Josh Haase

Good day! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. We'll be happy to help!

First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to your work. Based on your description, I have a general understanding of your question, yes, you can create multiple preset auto-replies in Outlook. To do this, you can create different email templates for each auto-reply and save them as drafts. When you need to use a specific auto-reply, you can open the corresponding draft, customize it if necessary, and then send it as your auto-reply.

To create an email template in Outlook, please kindly refer to: Create an email message template - Microsoft Support

To use your template as an auto-reply, follow these steps:

    1. Click on "File" in the top left corner of the Outlook window.
    2. Click on "Automatic Replies (Out of Office)".
    3. Check the box next to "Send automatic replies".
    4. Click on "Rules" and then "Add Rule".
    5. Choose the conditions for your auto-reply (e.g. "Sent only to me" or "Sent to a specific person").
    6. Click on "Reply using a specific template" and choose the template you created earlier.
    7. Click "OK" to save your rule and then "OK" again to close the Automatic Replies window.

Repeat these steps for each auto-reply you want to create.

Meanwhile, if you still need further hellp or I misunderstood your meaning, please kindly correct me and give me more details so that I can do more research and tests, thanks.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope for all the best!

    Sincerely

    Hi,

I also stumble upon this answer with almost similar question, my question is how to create a rule to send an auto reply "to and only" when I received emails from selected email account recipient outside my organization,

Kerry Chen solution is exactly what I need, however this applies to the Old Outlook App, and I cannot actually find this on the new Outlook 365 - 2024 Desktop App, I have also checked on Exchange Admin and cannot find this, Is this option now not available and should revert to old Outlook App?

Hi Kerry, how to apply this in the new Outlook?

Coz per checking the settings interface in your instruction was different from what is in the new Outlook.

May I request a detailed step by step instruction as well for the new Outlook interface, please?

Thank you for your kind assistance.

I know I will be out of the office during several normal working days this month.

I would like to put my email reply to auto respond during those days.

I already have it scheduled for other days I will be out later in the year and do not want to overwrite that out of office message.

can you please explain how to put in multiple days out of the office with different messages for throughout the upcoming year.

    Thank you!
