I’ve installed the new Outlook and now I want to delete my old version of Outlook 2016 which I think was part of Microsoft 365/Office. My PC has Windows 10.

With most installations of Office nowadays, it is all or nothing. You can't uninstall just Outlook unless you also uninstall Word, Excel etc. If that is what you want to do, make use of Programs & Features in Windows Settings to get rid of your version of Office.

Alternatively, act as if the classic version of Outlook isn't there, and use the new Outlook instead.

Thanks for the reply Stefan. Also I would like to sync my Apple Calendar and Contacts with the New Outlook. I’ve tried using the iCloud App but it did not work as it had previously with the Old Outlook. Any suggestions.

I recommend that you start a new thread for this question. I don't know the answer to that one, I'm afraid.
