My email senders getting lots of bounce back notices in spam

Hi

For the past two days, people who are sending emails to me are receiving a bounce back notice, even though I received the emails, almost instantaneously. The bounce back notices are going straight into their spam.

It’s causing confusion amongst the senders.

I also received many bounce back notices in my own spam.

Worth to mention that Microsoft sent me two notices about “suspected activities detected and asked me to change the password”.

They receive the following notice:

    First, you need to check your Sent Items and Deleted Items to see if there is a sending record of a large number of emails.

    If these emails are not in your outbox, we have analyzed that your inbox can be used for "undelivered spam". This is when hackers use manipulation tools to impersonate your email address to send a lot of spam, because the address is invalid, all bounced emails (bounced emails) will be sent to your inbox.

    In this case, you don't have to worry, the hackers haven't successfully hacked your account yet. If these emails appear in your outbox, it is recommended that you take immediate action to improve the security of your account.

    If there is any unusual activity that doesn't belong to you, you'll want to take action immediately to improve the security of your account.

    Hi, I had already done all that, but my sender still receive the postmaster email with a weird adress from nowhere. How can I disociate this adress from mine ? Please help

    I had this issue and I think I've managed to resolve it (touch wood).

    I was logged into my outlook account via a web browser and this has to be on a laptop or PC and not an iphone etc.

    Click on settings, (cog in top right corner) and then "Email" and "Rules" and I had an autoforwarding rule in there which I deleted and all has been ok since.
