Configuration item supported platforms

Greetings,
I would like to check computers for mandatory application install compliance.
Trouble is that some apps are only mandatory for Windows 10 and some for windows servers.
So if create a configuration baseline with all the apps, win 10 and servers, and deploy it to all clients, how does the supported platforms for the configuration item work?
For example, I have a CI for adobe reader and the supported platform is set to win 10 only.
But as its part of a CB that's targeted to all clients, what happens when a server runs its compliance check?
Does the server say, 'Im not compliant with that CI' or does it ignore that CI and report compliance for all the server supported platforms?
Thanks
David Z

    Hi, @David Zemdegs
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I do a test in my lab, and the result is: if you set the supported platform to win 10 only and deploy the CB to a collection with servers, the servers will be checked as non-compliant, it will show the required OS is not detected.

So we need to separately deploy different CIs to different OS collections.
