I have reviewed the help questions regarding 'schedule send', and although I am using the new version of outlook and the classic ribbon option I do not have the 'schedule send' option in my messages

What an absolutely ridiculous shortcoming that, unfortunately, has become typical of Microsoft. Add whizbang features no one cares about but developers and eliminate a very useful function. Why in the world would MS remove this feature for IMAP/POP3?

Not being able to schedule sending an email in the new Outlook sucks. Why was this important feature removed? How does that benefit your users? Terrible decision. Hope you bring it back.

    Dear JAW_1001

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community

I understand that you do not see the “Scheduled Sends” option in New Outlook! I understand your dilemma.

Are you logged into Microsoft Mail? What protocol do you have set up for your current mailbox (IMAP, POP or Exchange)?

Please know that in New Outlook, only accounts with Exchange protocol can see 'schedule send' option, if you are using non-Microsoft mailbox, or you have set up IMAP, POP protocol for your current mailbox, then you can't see schedule send' option, as shown in the picture below:

This picture shows the account of Exchange protocol:

This image shows an account for the IMAP protocol:

In Classic outlook, it supports to set schedule send for IMAP protocol mailboxes, but after successful setup, your Outlook must be online and connected for this function to work properly.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be happy to help!

I wish you all the best

Any chance this feature will come live any time soon for IMAP and POP accounts? I just switched from google and I need this feature urgently - otherwise, I have to switch back...

    Thanks!
