Can’t receive verification code via text message

Hi,

I’ve been trying to change my password but unable to reset it because my account requires two step authentication codes and I can receive one to my Gmail but I can’t get a code to my text message. Is there a solution to receiving a text code? I called up my network provider to see if the number was being blocked at all and it’s not and I can’t remember my recovery code and when I attempt to recover my account it says unable to recover my account as two step verification is unable and when I click forgotten recovery code it gives me the option to reset my password but then it says this session has timed out and cannot change password

    Dear Jeorge-Jina

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are having trouble on recover your Microsoft account.

    According to your description, you have enabled two-step verification for your account and can receive verification codes via Gmail email. Then you only need to receive SMS verification codes to restore your account.

    For verification code issues, we recommend that you first refer to our support website:

    Troubleshooting verification code issues - Microsoft Support

    If you have tried the troubleshooting steps and contacted your network provider for confirmation, since the community team cannot further handle account-related issues, you can contact our account team directly for manual assistance.

    1. Open a site link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "Tell us your problem so we can get you the right help and support.", enter MSA, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Customer Support" below.
    3. In this section, you need to register a personal Microsoft account

    Note: You can only use a personal MSA to register, and the company account cannot display the correct content. If the account cannot be logged in, you can use another account or create a new account to execute;

    1. Select "Other Products" in Products & Services, select "Manage account security" as a category, and click to confirm
    2. You can select "Chat with support experts in web browser" to enter the chat window.
