How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer?

How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer? My web hosting service who also supports my email address does not support Microsoft's New cloud-based Outlook app and therefore I need to use the Classic version. I have already downloaded my Microsoft 365 applications to a new computer and cannot figure out how to revert back to Classic Outlook. Thank you for your help.

Is Outlook installed? Outlook.exe is here - you can use Windows key + R to open the Run command and paste the path, including the parenthesis in the run box then press Enter.

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

if you use 32-bit Office, it is here -

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

If Outlook is installed and new Outlook opens when you click the link, see Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook (slipstick.com)

If it is not installed, you can download Outlook here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/you-can-t-open-classic-outlook-on-a-new-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5

IT-fluent people do retrofit novel login methods like Oauth2 to older apps via some proxy scheme. I think the person that I have in mind programmed the bridge app himself, but there may be ready-made solutions on the interwebs.

Maybe the search keywords would be "Oauth2 proxy" or "Oauth2 bridge"

Bad solution on Microsoft's part. I do not have admin access to the registry on my work computer. So anything in the Registry is off limits. Why don't they just keep the switch active?

The new old classic that downloads is not much better than the new outlook. I have gone back to looking in my online account for Earthlink not outlook. I use to be able to have both my gmail and earthlink acounts together in outlook. Now it is just not the same and I cannot send emails in the classic but have to go to the new outlook.

The link provided by Microsoft for downloading the classic version never worked for me until about 2 weeks ago. I have now gone back to classic and also reestablished by comcast pop3 email folders in it. I'm largely back to where I wanted to be. If you haven't tried recently to go back to classic, you might want to try again.
