    Dear malcolm lemmon,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

I understand that you are sending incorrect emails and this is causing you distress and I understand how you feel.

In order to better understand the situation of your issue, I need you to share some details of the issue with us:

Can I ask if it is the case that when you verified your password after changing it, the verification email was incorrect?

Can you please ask if there are other verification methods such as other emails. If there are other verification methods, you can reset your password.

When logging into your account, click on Forgot Password, and after passing the authentication, get the verification code and then enter a new password.

For more information, see the following link:

If I have misunderstood you, please correct me when replying.

The information you share will help us to troubleshoot the error further, thank you for your patience and support.

    Have a great day.

    Best Regards,
