This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hi,
I've installed windows admin center on a windows 10 pro 20H2 computer. I have followed the correct procedure, but it won't start. In my browser (chrome or edge) it uses the address https://localhost:6516/, whitch should be ok. But I get the message that the site is not reachable.
With a command prompt, netstat -an | findstr 6516, I get this:
TCP 0.0.0.0:6516 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
TCP [::]:6516 [::]:0 LISTENING
Where should I look to find the cause and the correct resolution?

Hi,
1.As instructed in the troubleshooting guidance, selecting incorrect certificate in the first time launching WAC, it will prompt with HTTP 403 error saying "can't get to this page".
2.Please ensure the account used is member of the local administrator's group.
3.Is your computer domain joint or in the workgroup? If the latter one, go and check the TrustedHosts
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/support/troubleshooting#using-windows-admin-center-in-a-workgroup
4.Last but not least some user shared their experience on eliminating the similar error by changing the WAC Service Log on as.
