Date column format

Question

Below is a comparison between the legacy and new Outlook experiences for the same folders on the same machine (so same system settings, etc.). You'll note that the format of the date column differs between the two, and I prefer the format of the legacy Outlook.

Is there a way to change the date column format in the new Outlook?

Based on your description, I know your requirement. For this, it is the default setting for new outlook and there is no setting for us to change this in new outlook. So sorry to bring you inconvenience for using Microsoft product.

If you think you like the classic version view, for this, please be kindly to revert back to Classic version to use.

And I will report this to Microsoft as soon as possible. Believe through our effort, Microsoft will update this for new outlook as well.
