Adding IMAP Email accounts to New Outlook

Question

I have been using the Classic Outlook for years with no issues. I have 1 Google email and 2 imap, work, emails. When I go to Accounts (on new outlook) and add account the only option seems to be my gmail account. There is a field that says : Suggested accounts. That is what has my gmail account. There is no where for me to add a different account. I know all of the information to input the emails manually, but I can't find an option for that either.

Here are the steps how to add another IMAP email account in New Outlook as reference:

1. Firstly, you need to click Add account options and go to the new window. Then you need to remove the suggested account showing on the page and enter yourIMAP account instead.

2. Then you can click Continue to go next page and selectIMAPoptions as your email provider.

Quand, je mets l'adresse du compte, cela me prendre directement en compte un compte Microsoft Outlook qui ne fonctionne plus et cela ne me propose pas l'Option IMAP.

Comment faire pour avoir l'option IMAP sans que outlook prenne le compte de Microsoft?

This worked for me, my IMAP account is fine, but...

When I write a new email I cannot access my Outlook contacts from my IMAP account.

How can I tell my IMAP account to use my Outlook contacts?
