Hello Georgina,
Thank you for posting this case in Microsoft Community!
Based on your description: Adding IMAP Email accounts to New Outlook. I would like to cooperate with you working on this case. To clarify this case, as further research and investigation from my side, when you have already set up email accounts in New Outlook, generally it will display the suggested account when clicking Add account options again. For my suggestion, you need to remove the default suggested account and enter the new one instead. See more information, you may check this article as reference:
Add an email account to Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support
Here are the steps how to add another IMAP email account in New Outlook as reference:
- Firstly, you need to click Add account options and go to the new window. Then you need to remove the suggested account showing on the page and enter yourIMAP account instead.
- Then you can click Continue to go next page and selectIMAPoptions as your email provider.
- Finally, you can set up your IMAP account with advanced method settings. After that, you can add the account successfullly.
**Note:**If you don't already know this info, you'll need to get it from your email provider or administrator. For a list of common server settings and reference help, see
Server settings you'll need from your email provider.
Hope the above workaround would be helpful. If you need further assistance, please feel free to let me know, I will keep assisting you.
Your understanding and patience will be appreciated.
Thank you!
