Cannot access the one drive using user email addres (like "/drives/{emailAddress}")

Question

We were using the Azure Application with special rights to upload a file to users One Drive using OneDrive API where we identify the drives using user email.
We were using the for example /drives/{userEmailAddress}/root:{filePath} to get the file info (see - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_get), but since 11th of July 2021 that does not work.
Only {UserID[GUID]} might be used there.

Question is if this was intended and it will stay like that or it was changed by mistake?

As this issue is realted to OneDrive develpment, but the tag "office-onedrive-client-itpro" focus more on general issues of OneDrive client, to better help you, I would suggest you post new threads on forums that pointed by link "OneDrive developer community", or on Tech Community for OneDrive Developers.

Besides, please note, Microsoft will be moving away from UserVoice feedback sites throughout the 2021 calendar year on a product-by-product basis.
