Cannot Access My Account – Need Authenticator Reset

Hi [Admin/Support],

I’m unable to access my account  because I can’t complete the sign-in with Microsoft Authenticator. The system is asking me to approve sign-in by entering a code (number match), but I don’t have the app connected yet and cannot scan the QR code.

Could you please reset my Multi-Factor Authentication setup so I can re-register my device or enable an alternative login method temporarily (e.g., SMS)?

    Hello Katherine,

    I appreciate your assistance, it's a business mail box and i am the sole administrator . i tried to reach out to the phone call center but an automatic reply answer me and couldn't help me.

    May I know whether the mailbox is a business mailbox or a personal mailbox (hotmail.com/Outlook.com)? If it's a business mailbox, and you are the sole administrator for your org, you need to contact our support team. You can reach them by visiting [Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support] and calling the provided support number. 

    If you are not the sole administrator or if you are a user, the most efficient way to solve this problem is to contact your org administrator. They will be able to assist you with resetting your authentication method then have a try again.
