Hello dlamy2, I hope you figured it out. In case you didn't, or Rodrigo's way didn't help, I will share with you the solution I was finally able to find. It is a little differ than Rodrigo's, or just said a little differently.

    1. Hold the "shift" key down.
    2. While holding the "shift" key down, right click on the app emblem on the task bar. You will see an option to select "move".
    3. Select "move" and release the "shift" key.
    4. Click on the "arrow" key that will move it in the direction you want it to go. Do it until you have it where you want or at least enough where you can select the app's top task bar.

Hold Shift while you right-click the icon. Then, depending on your keyboard either the +/- or arrows will eventually move the window, it just may have to move it half a mile, so ride the line between patience and time wasting...

No holding Shift doesn't work on Win 11 to bring up the Move option.

As I said above, need to hover over the app on the taskbar and its small preview will appear above, right click on this to show the Move option.

Click Move and then press any arrow key once only, then simply move the mouse around as it will be tethered to the window and you should find it pretty easily.

This is insane that this is still the "fix" for this issue after years. Windows needs to add a function to handle this or an easy way to recenter an application.

This solution does not work if you don't know where the window is in relation to the current screen, which is what I am currently facing.

Unless the app is right on the edge - and you don't have multiple monitors (4 or more) some horizontal, some not) This is NOT a solution.

Hi, On Win 11, when right clicking on the app on Task bar, there is no option to Move.

There are Recent, Unpin, and Close. The other method using Win, Shift and Left arrow, does not work.
