I have a MacBook Pro 2021 with 16GB of RAM. I use Microsoft Outlook for MAC and access it through the Outlook app in the new outlook format. My MAC has started running really slow and the little beachball sign comes on when I try to do simple things like adding a new signature etc to my email. I have been online with Apple support who spent some time looking over every process. The conclusion is that Outlook is writing a lot of data in the background constantly and sometimes it is using 80 to 90% of the CPU to do this. I have cleared the cache in legacy outlook and various other things but it is making no difference. Any ideas?
