blue row numbers in Excel 2010 even though there are no filters applied

I am running Excel 2010 on Winodws 7 Professional, 64-bit with all the latest updates applied.

In Excel, I have a table where filters were applied. I removed all filters (Data>Filter) and yet, the row numbers are in blue. What can be done to remove that? Or is it a bug?

    I ran across this same exact issue with excel... and figured out how to fix it!  Just remove your filter completely and then add it back and the blue row numbers go back to their default non-filtered color.  :)  Hope that works for you.  It did for me.

    By the way, I'm posting this five years after the original post.  The internet continually amazes me.

    No, that is not the case. It is the row number which is showing blue, not the cell data.

    The row numbers become blue typically when a filter is applied. In my case, there is no filter applied, nor are there any columns hidden.

    Hi, maybe the row were coloured, highlight the whole sheet, then under font in the ribbon click in the arrow beside the telephone,click on No Fill
