Hello, we currently have a windows 2012 virtual server running SSRS 2016 that is currently in production and a windows 2019 virtal server running SSRS 2019 that will be replacing it. We would like to know if there is a way that we can export a single report from the SSRS 2016 server and import it into the SSRS 2019 server without having to move/migrate the report server database. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi @efg20 ,
This Microsoft Page “Sample Reporting Services rs.exe Script to Copy Content between Report Servers” describes a sample script created by Benjamin Satzger at Microsoft, to migrate content between two Report Servers using the rs.exe application present in both modes of Reporting Services installation.

But if you just want to move a report, I suggest you download the report to a local folder from Report Manager, and copy it via email or U disk. The rs.exe script is suitable for batch report transfer.
