I am working in a publisher document that requires fractions other than 1/4; 1/2 or 3/4. Is there a macro to allow me to insert other fractions in my document?

I recently created an Excel macro that creates AutoCorrect entries for all ˣ⁄₂, ˣ⁄₄, ˣ⁄₈, ˣ⁄₁₆, ˣ⁄₃₂ and ˣ⁄₆₄ fractions from ¹⁄₆₄ to ⁶³⁄₆₄. Once created in Excel, they will be available to all Office programs.

You can find a copy of the sample workbook with that macro, the helper UDF and an automated removal macro from my SkyDrive here:

You can find a few more choices if you go to...Insert / Symbol...

and open the Subset drop window and choose Number Forms.

    Office 2010:

    Found the "Insert Symbol" for 1/3, 2/3, 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8.

    They are listed under "Unicode".

In the "Symbols" window, look in the lower right corner, adjacent to "from:".  One of these will be listed: ASCII (hex), ASCII (decimal) or Unicode (hex).

Select Unicode, and there are the fractions.
