Windows Update Ring - Force restart and restart reminder notification

Hello,

we have configured Windows Update Rings for some testing machines and the goal that we want to achieve is that user gets reminders before restart and one permanent reminder that will force him to restart machine, otherwise restart should happen automatically.
We configured co-management and MDM policies are applied in "Policies set on your device" section in Settings>Updates> View configured update policies.
What are the best settings for this purpose? Do active hours block reminders and should we disable active hours?

I tried with "Automatic update behavior: Reset to default" and active hours 8am-5pm but it looks like it never forces user to restart with permanent reminder that count down 15 minutes. User receives reminders and always postpones them and restart happens during the night without end user control.

Active hours are unrelated to notifications and reminders. Active hours simply define maintenance times or times that update installation or reboots should be allowed. By default, Windows automatically determines active hours based on the device's usage patterns.

To force a restart, configure a deadline.
