Arial Narrow font problem

After installing the recent service pak for Office 2011, the Arial Narrow regular font does not display correctly for Czech language (Central European character set). Bold and italic are fine. What can I do to fix this problem? It is urgent for my resume and I don't want to have to reformat the entire document in another font. Thanks.

Thanks so much. I was able to fix the problem by removing the new Arial Narrow font from the Font Book.

Sounds like you have a Font Conflict.

do one or the other of the following:

http://word.mvps.org/Mac/fontweeding.html

http://www.officeformachelp.com/office/font-management/

when you locate the duplicate fonts  click on font information in FontBook.

look for the oldest version and disable and remove.

after removing all old versions locate the disabled fonts folder

remove the fonts to desktop.

highlight them all and make an archive (zip). (Name it oldfonts.zip)

then save in a location on hard drive. In case you need to swap a font.
