Permission issues when trying to install drivers on certain computer

I have inherited a network at my new job and have run in to some weird issues as I try and get it all figured out. One issue I am fighting right now is when I try and install drivers/plug-in for a signature pad on one computer. I keep getting a Feature transfer error with the actual error being access denied. It doesn't matter if I use my admin login on the computer or even the main admin login to try and install I always get the same error. I can go on any other computer in the domain and run the program and install with no issues. The computer I am trying to install the program on is a mirror copy of 20 other computers in the office that have no issues. I am not sure where to look for an answer for this as the signature pad was working last week and after Windows Updates its stopped.

    Hi,
According to your description, I consider that you could try to run process monitor and see what the issue was. Filtered on Access Denied results in process monitor.

Meanwhile, I suggest that you could perform a clean boot and disable security software temporarily to check.

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
