Hello,
I have several users in an Active Directory. Some of them don´t want to use MS Teams, and don´t want to be listed as users in MS Teams. They even don´t want to be found by others in the directory of specifically in MS Teams. How do i accomplish that? Tried deleting MS Teams for the specific user as admin in the license but still the user is visible to others, as if he could be reached via MS Teams. That´s not how it should be.

You may use scoped directory search
Microsoft Teams scoped directory search allows organizations to create virtual boundaries that control how users can find and communicate with other users in their organization. Here is the reference: teams-scoped-directory-search
The point is different and should be handled different - No MS Teams - no such User in MS Teams ! - what is so hard about that? You do realize that this could be the next GDPR Problem. Why should someone using Outlook or Word be OBLIGED to have his Name or Contact Data in MS Teams? These are still different products, although sold in one package.

As of now, the alternate way that I suggested can help up to an extend. You can look into turning on the search scope, which by default will exclude anyone with "Hideaddresslist" enabled.

Agree with @Manu Philip , scope search can control how users can find and communicate with other users in their organization.
Moreover, if you want those users not to use Microsoft Teams, you could disable the Teams license for them. For more details, you can refer to this article.
That´s not the point. It´s some of the users who don´t want to use Teams. They also don´t want to be found as Users on Teams, so that nobody gets the idea t write or contact them in Teams - they prefer mail and normal phone. AKA there should not be the option to write them if they are not on Teams. If you disable the license, you still can find them on Teams and write them. Only possible reason: MS wants users to be necessitated to use Teams, and i have to build up some Hide adress list, which is not in harmony with the GDPR.

No - i understand that there is no solution to it. Office and Teams are the same with no option to not show a user - EVEN by disabling his MS Teams completely. That´s it.

I am sorry not to give you any practical suggestion about your requirements. At the same time, we also recommend you feedback it in Teams UserVoice. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.
