I would like to have set sheets where I can command Excel to print and save as PDF for efficiency.  What are your best practices? Thank you!

You can select multiple sheets much like you can select multiple files in Windows Explorer:

  • Click the sheet tab of the first sheet you want to select, then hold down the Shift key while you click the sheet tab of the last sheet you want to select. All sheets in between will also be selected.
  • Hold down the Ctrl key to select or deselect individual sheets. This way you can select sheets that are not next to each other.

When you have selected multiple sheets, you'll see [Group] in the title bar of the window.

You can now print all selected sheets at once, or export all selected sheets to PDF.

Warning: when multiple sheets are selected, changes you make to cells will apply to all selected sheets. So don't forget to select a single sheet again when you're done with editing/printing/exporting multiple sheets.

That solution prints each PDF as an individual sheet, though. For me, that's practically useless. I'm trying to take a multi-sheet excel spreadsheet and print is as a single, conjoined PDF (one document).

The Office PDF function does not have the ability to append data. You would need a third party PDF creation tool that allows subsequent files to be appended. If you are doing the job manually, PrimoPDF should work.
