Office 2013 update not integrated in Windows Update

I am unable to update Office 2013 (.iso version, not the on demand). Office 2013 isn't integrated in Windows Update. The option to "get updates for other Microsoft programs" is completely missing in the settings of Windows Update.

Clicking on the link "get updates for other Microsoft products" just links to a website that says how to open Windows Update.

My machine is on Win7, Ultimate, 64-bit and I am using Office 2013 Professional Plus.

Can anyone help?

no need to install any add-on, I got this issue recently and as OP of this tread could not find a way to enable that option, so I figured it out (MS support is leaning from customers how to fix their product :) ) the needed link did not opened anything for me, but I fixed all issues by enabling Compatibility settings in IE, select "Use MS compatibility list" and then the same page reopens, but this time it will have check box.

    have fun!

The same issue has just started happening with my new installs. Installed Win 7.1, Volume License version for school, then Office 2013, Volume License - updates does not give option for anything other than Windows. Clicking the "Find Out More link"

takes me to a generic / dead web page with NO LINKS

which basically tells me how to start windows updates....

I have had the same Problem for a longer time.

    Now it was easy.

I installed Silverlight....   and it works

    :-((

Assuming you're not running Office 365 or Office 2013 Click-to-Run...

    OPTION A: Uninstall/reinstall Office 2013.

OPTION B: Run a Startup Repair of Win7.

    OPTION C: See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa826676(VS.85).aspx

OPTION D: Begin your own, new thread in this forum => http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/home?forum=officeitpro

OPTION E: Format the HDD then do a clean install of Win7 & Office 2013.

When (approx. date) did you install Office 2013?

Was Office 2010, 2007 or 2003 ever installed on the computer?

Is KB2850064 and/or KB2826004 listed in Installed Updates?

    When?

Just this week. I downloaded the .iso from MSDN

    Was another Office installed?

No, this is a fresh install of Windows and Office

    KB in installed updates?

    NO

See here the screenshot of Windows Update. The entire feature of updating other Microsoft products is missing.
