    Hello @Nightcraxler ,

Thank you so much for posting here.

According to my experience, we could configure screensaver via GPO directly.

If we would like to force specific screen saver, enter the name of the file that contains the screen saver.

Please note that the screen saver should be stored on the computers locally.

If we set up the policy via registry, it will not change the GPO correspondingly. It is suggested that we could configure the GPO directly and then it will change the corresponding registry values.

For any question, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Hannah Xiong

Hello @Hannah Xiong ! Thank you for your reply.
Why the policy via registry cannot change the GPO ? The registry is more powerful than the GPO isn't it ?
Sorry i did not specify but i would like to continue to set up GPO and registry with batch file if it's possible.
Or is it possible to call the scrnsave.scr in my batch to apply it ?

Thank you for your help !
    Best regards,
    N.

The GPO is changed on my OS (Windows 10, 1909) when I update registry at :

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy Objects{804B7151-925D-4616-A613-8D98DA448996}User\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop

But the GUID is for my PC, so you must check the GUID after you updated the GPO with gpedit.msc
(I used Process Monitor with mmc process to find the key with this GUID...)
