If the credential authentication is done in Edge, can the session be transfer to Edge in IE mode? For example, the authentication url is http://www.myapp.com running in Edge. After authentication, the url is redirected to http://www.myapp.com/mainapp/ but running in Edge IE mode. Can http://www.myapp.com and http://www.myapp.com/mainapp/ share the same session?
Thanks.

    Hi @awt7532 ,

If you are using IE mode configured with Enterprise Mode Site List, it will be feasible.

The application might be configured to open in Internet Explorer mode with Single Sign On (SSO) enabled as part of the workflow. In these scenarios, you can configure specific cookies set by SSO to be sent from Microsoft Edge to Internet Explorer, and not need to re-authenticate.

But you need to be aware that session cookies can only be shared from Microsoft Edge to Internet Explorer. Reverse sharing of session cookies (from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge) is not possible. For more details, you could refer to this document: edge-ie-mode-add-guidance-cookieshare

    Best regards,
