Hi Team,

SMTP server 6.0 installed windows 2016 functioning as Email relay for internal organization with O-365. Can we disable TLS 1.0/1.1 on the windows server 2016 with SMTP server 6.0.

Cheers!
Priya

    As revealed in the article,

"The IIS SMTP Virtual Server Component that is mentioned in this article is part of IIS 6.0, the support for which has ended with the support of Windows Server 2003. To relay emails to Office 365, use one of the supported versions of Exchange Server."

So in no case you should install and use that "IIS SMTP Virtual Server Component" at this moment. You have to uninstall it and use Exchange Server instead.

    Hi Lextm,

Thanks for your answer. Please share why MS has added this feature IIS 6.0 into windows 2016 if the feature is not supported.

    Thanks
    Priya
