Hi,
i'm in a technical office and i'd like to check if some client is currently transferring files to some destination (es. USB drives or local folders).
In general this behaviour occours normallt because we use a CAD client that is connected to the server and exchange informations all the day. But in general is it possible to keep track of transfers so that I can catch if someone is directing informations towards an USB drive?

    Hi ,

Thanks for your posting here. Based on my understanding, you want to track data transfer to USB device, is that right? Please feel free to let me know if I have any misunderstanding.

As far as I know, there is no build-in way or tool can fully achieve your goal. Some third-party product may meet your requirements.

The similar thread has discussed before, you could have a look:

Monitor USB usage on an employees PC

It seems that DLP (data Leakage Prevention) can provide with reports of any files copied (in either direction), the machine, the device and the user. But most DLP products require some sort of agent on the Endpoint.

    Best Regards,
    Candy
