I found this article:

https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/1004/t/404130?pi14985=2

Which states that the question was answered, but is the answer really jut to not use Edge when using office?  Has there been no update to this since August?

Thanks for any insight.

    Hi Dean,

Based on the log, please have a quick check at the following.

    #1

    1. Open Edge > click the three dots at the right top to open More actions > Settings.
    2. At Advanced settings, click View advanced settings.
    3. Scroll down to Cookies section, check which option you currently choose.

Make sure or change it to Don't block cookies. Restart Edge and try access Office 365.

    #2

Try accessing Office 365 through SharePoint Online, such as, at https://organization.sharepoint.com.

In the meantime, we would like to collect your tenant information to move forward.

To protect your privacy, please reply through the new PM entitled "INFORMATION REQUEST" I have sent you at https://community.office365.com/user/conversations.

    Best Regards,

    Rene

I may have deployed ADFS.  Can you please tell me how I can see if it is deployed or not?

I cleared all the cached data out of Edge. I do not see a clear all data button, but I checked Browsing History, Cookies and saved website data, Cached data and files, Download History, Form Data, and Passwords.

I enter portal.office.com in Edge and I go to this page, which auto-populates my account information and I have to enter my password.  It also has this message:

    "Sign in again.

For security purposes, this application requires you to sign in again."

    login.microsoftonline.com/login.srf

Once I enter my password, then I get to this page, which is basically the same page:

    login.microsoftonline.com/login.srf

InPrivate browsing does the same, but does not auto-populate anything and does not have the message that I need to login again.

    hi dean,

office 365 does not by default have adfs enabled for us to sign in. if you did not deploy one, and based on your description on the symptoms, we would not consider your case is the one as you referred in the thread.

therefore, we would continue to work with you on your situation.

you may be more specific on "asked to sign in over, and over again". do you keep being redirected to the portal after entering your credential?

you can clear the history of the edge first and let us know the results.

open edge > click the three dots at the right top to open more actions > settings > under clear browsing data, choose what to clear > select all to clear.

and, please further try the below.

    1. tick keep me signed in.

    1. see if you can see the same behavior when you are at inprivate window.

please feel free to share any updates.

    best regards,

    rene

I am not 100% sure if I have ADFS deployed for my organization...Currently I have only one user.  How can I confirm?

I CAN sign into office using any other browswer (Explorer, Chrome, Firefox).

I do not receive any error, I am just asked to sign in over, and over again.

    hi dean,

as you may have read from the referred thread, the situation discussed is mainly on the environment which has adfs deployed. therefore, we would like to first confirm whether your organization has configured the same.

and, appreciate it if you can share more information on your current status. we can generally use edge to work with office 365.

    1. as mentioned above, is adfs deployed in your organization?
    2. can you sign into office 365 using any other browser?
    3. if there is any message from office 365 in edge, please send a screenshot with us for our references. to insert a screenshot, please click use rich formatting > ![](http://community.office365.com/tiny_mce/plugins/insertmedia/img/insert_image.gif) insert/edit media > browse... > insert.

feel free to post back at any time.

    best regards,

    rene
