Question

We have purchased the Office 2016 5-user VLC licenses from one of the company in KSA.

As we try to install the office 2016 with the source downloaded from VLC site, after installation when I try to open office application for activation I received an Error.

This is first time i'm using the Vlc licences and it's Source.

I check this Error online which solution they mention there I tried all but it still I’m facing the same issue.

So can you please advise me what I’ll do to solve this issue?

I found that the error is based on Visual C++.   I further found that KB2919355 is required for Visual C++ 2015 Runtimes.  Once this patch is applied, I could run KB2999226 and then install Visual C++ 2015 without issues.  As soon as that was installed, all of my office apps opened without issue.
