BizTalk 2016 and MSXML4 dependency

BizTalk 2016 is installed on windows 2016 and MSXML4SP2 was installed as part of RosettaNet install.

Windows 2016 already had MSXML6.

We have to deprecate MSXML4 sue to MSFT security vulnerability and use MSXML6 instead.

Will uninstalling MSXML4SP2 from Control panel->Progams impact interfaces running on the server?
Do BizTalk Maps, Adapters etc have any dependencies on particular version of MSXML?
Whats recommended approach to disabling or removing MSXML4?

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

I would recommend disabling it and test your functionality. Generally, it should impact though before removing try to test your working functionalities.
Already suggested in a different thread.
