Hi,

I'm really upset of the new address bar because I can't drag and drop anymore files to parent folder like in old file explorer address bar

Can you fix the problem in a close future update or tell me how to change this back to old version (exist in windows 11 file explorer)

The new address bar is above the tools bar (New - Cut - Copy - etc), the old one is bellow

    Dear Yoame~

We very much recognise your feedback and suggestions, in response to your question, we have tested and confirmed that it is a change in UI after the new version update, and there is no solution to return to the classic interface directly for the time being.

We still attach great importance to the feedback experience of individual users, for system development and design-related feedback, the best feedback channel is the Windows system Feedback Hub (launched by Win + F) built-in windows, and the development team will review the submitted feedback regularly.

And you can share your feedback link here or with your friends and family members, more votes will make the development team notice more quickly.

I'm keeping this incident for the rest of the community to get involved and I wish you the best of luck in getting your issue resolved~

Hi. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I understand the difficulties you've been facing, and I want to assure you that I'll be giving my all to provide the help you need.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has eliminated the capability to drag and drop files into parent folders using the address bar in Windows 11.

I understand that this functionality was beneficial to you. Since we are just a user just like you and do not have direct contact with Microst developers. I suggest that you provide feedback to Microsoft about this issue so that they can consider adding it back in future updates.

    I hope this helps.

I seriously thought I was going crazy on my PC because I could no longer navigate like I used to. This is the most out of touch change next to the moronic right click menu Microsoft pushed. If this is not resolved in the next month I will have no choice but to go back to Windows 10.

For real? Who though up that change? Amazingly short sighted as a great many Windows 11 users would require this functionality as part of their workflow.
